In the first module, we'll dive deep into what it means to ask your clients the right questions so that you can create an in-depth brand strategy. While this approach certainly helps guide concept development, it also adds value to the entire process, allowing designers to easily increase their pricing as a result. Templates included: client questionnaire and brand strategy.

Next, you'll learn how to translate a brand strategy into a thoughtful and strategic brand that helps your clients authentically tell their story and grow their business. We’ll also go over the one concept method, as well as what it means to put together a strong and succinct visual presentation that best represents your concept. Templates included: concept presentation.

The third module demystifies one of the most anxiety inducing parts of the branding process, gathering feedback. We'll go over things like setting boundaries and educating your clients on how to give helpful feedback, while also covering difficult scenarios like subjectivity, distrust, and more. You’ll walk away with a toolbox that facilitates positive collaboration.

Next, we'll discuss how to thoughtfully wrap things up with clients. We’ll also go over things like setting up brand guidelines, packaging up final files, and strategically reminding your clients of how else you can be of service in the future. Templates included: brand guidelines.

This module goes behind the scenes on things like value based pricing, handling inquiries and first meetings, proposal creation, client on-boarding (contracts, invoicing, etc.), project management, bookkeeping, and file management. Plus, there’s a lot of screencasts that literally show Bre’s screen as she handles all of the above. Templates included: proposal, email scripts, project management scripts, bookkeeping, and expense tracking.

Forever. The version of Branding w/ Bre that you will purchase is the "legacy" version, which means that I've migrated everything into a Google Doc with links to every single lesson, script, and template. The reason this version of BWB is a "legacy" version is because the content is no longer updated. As is, everything is still very much relevant and useful to anyone who finds the above curriculum to be something they are interested in. The only thing that’s noticeable without updates are a few videos that walk you through some of my systems behind the scenes. Obviously, platforms like Asana and Bonsai (what I use) get upgraded now and then so they may look different to my original video. The key elements are still there, though!
To ensure that you have forever access, please download everything to your own server.

In short, it depends. ;) If you work within a different design medium (like web, print, or packaging), a LOT of what we'll go over would apply to you as well. So yes, while this particular workshop is technically all about the branding process, you could certainly apply what you learn to other design mediums as well. Ultimately, this class is entirely self paced with no time limits, so you can work through everything when it works best to you without worry. That said, here are the details:
There are 16 core lessons that take a little less than 3 hours to get through. Each video averages 10-20 minutes, so it’s easy to watch one or a few videos at a time.
There are also 11 screencasts that coordinate with many of the core lessons. For these, you will watch Bre’s screen as she creates a moodboard, designs 2 brands, presents an initial concept, packages final files, and walks through various systems like project management, bookkeeping, file organization. Because these are often “walk through” videos of real life client and backend examples, they are often longer, averaging 30 minutes each. They are very thorough and a true peek behind the curtain of how another designer runs their business. Take your time with these. The core lessons are enough. These are a bonus!
Beyond the above, you’ll have access to 12 hours of pre-recorded Q&A sessions with Bre from when she taught Branding w/ Bre. But don’t worry! You don’t have to watch all 12 hours. All questions and their corresponding timestamp have been typed out, making it easy to jump directly to questions of interest. And we cover a LOT of ground. ;)

Branding w/ Bre used to be offered as a live class two times per year, during which I would hop on Crowdcast to answer any clarifying questions our community had. All 6 of these sessions (totalling over 12 hours) were recorded and are now housed within the class dashboard so that new students can watch at their leisure.
