Sarah Martinez is a painter working in acrylic, watercolor, and ink, creating both abstract and illustrative paintings. The nature that surrounds her home (in the hills of Northwest Connecticut) and the sense of wonder and curiosity that her children exude are strong sources of inspiration in her work. These values are also what we focused on when creating the new brand for Snoogs & Wilde, Sarah’s studio. The base typography is classic and refined, with playful overlaps and letter manipulations mixed in. On top of that, the fluctuating line work of the letters, as well as other illustrative details, is organic, moving fluidly throughout each composition.
